Giżycko Canal (Łuczański Canal)

The project involved a comprehensive bathymetric survey of the bottom of the Giżycko Canal (also known as the Łuczański Canal) and the NW Port Basin in Giżycko. The objective of the study was to precisely map the bottom topography, verify transit depths, and identify any underwater obstacles or shallows that could affect navigational safety on this key route of the Great Masurian Lakes. This data is essential for waterway managers and port authorities in planning maintenance and dredging operations.
