In the northern part of Kraków, work is underway on the construction of the Kraków Fast Tram line, which is currently the largest municipal infrastructure investment in the area. The new tram route will be approximately 5.5 km long, and the project includes 23 tram platforms and 600 parking spaces across three park & ride facilities. Seven engineering structures are also being built as part of the investment, including a road tunnel through which trams will pass over the Sudoł stream valley. Furthermore, tram-road and road flyovers are being constructed to facilitate northbound traffic over Nad Sudołem Street.
